Banyan Gallery (Lansing, Michigan)

Mary Lou Miller is one of 22 resident artists with work exclusively shown at the Banyan Gallery in the flourishing Old Town district of Lansing, Mich. Mediums on exhibit include painting, sculpture, glass, photography, mixed media and of course, chigirie. Each artist was asked to create an original work depicting the gallery's namesake tree. The chigirie work shown at right was selected for promotional purposes and appeared in the Lansing State Journal as part of the announcement of the gallery's opening.

Twisted Fish Gallery

Owned and operated by Bob and Charlotte Streit, the Twisted Fish pairs flower gardens with original artwork. Take a virtual tour here. In addition to offering fresh-cut flower arrangements, the Twisted Fish exhibits a wide range of artistic mediums, including painting, kaleidoscopes, sculpture, pottery, and now chigirie. The picturesque grounds occupy three acres of northern Michigan countryside.
